As a Christian, use your Biblical discernment - the Holy Spirit of God will never contradict anything in the Bible or lead you into sin (including witchcraft practices like yoga); there is no sin in Him - see John 1:1-3. Neither is there any so-called 'truth' which contradicts Biblical Truth. Truth is not some kind of spectrum or a personal belief, things are objectively either true or false.
My posting of other people's content doesn't mean I that endorse them or their content (see 'knowledge synthesis' as a concept). Are you perhaps a Christian who is worried that looking after your body, in some convoluted way
of thinking, is a sin? For example, worrying that taking a high dose of a vitamin that your body
is in dire need of - is the sin of pharmakeia, or is akin to it? Did you know that our dietary
sources of nourishment, like fruits and vegetables, contain drastically fewer vitamins than they
did 50 years ago? We face many insidious challenges to our health today that were totally
unimaginable in the past. It's important as Christians for us to be aware of these challenges
and to overcome them, rather than ignoring them.
Isn't it the sin of pharmakeia to use shampoo containing 20 different unrecognizable chemicals,
which absorb through your scalp into your bloodstream? Isn't it also the sin of pharmakeia to
regularly choose to eat ultra-processed 'food' that ruins your body, or to use makeup that's
likely carcinogenic?
I think it's wise to not accept these things just because they're 'normal'. Your body is a
Temple of the Holy Spirit (see 1 Cor 6:19-20). God wants you to be exceedingly healthy and
strong, so that you're better able to serve Him. He doesn't want you to be diseased and weak,
and He doesn't want you to harm yourself.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to
give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11).
Use Biblical discernment and The Ten Commandments to figure out what is and isn't the sin of
pharmakeia, or another kind of sin.
God wants you to look after His Temple.

'ReciPeats' - Ray Peat inspired recipes
Before you start researching Ray Peat, there are some things to bear in mind:
People in this community sometimes promote eating a lot of white sugar or starch, despite Ray's
warnings against this. Ray explained that eating too much refined sugar may not be metabolically healthy; white
sugar is about 50% glucose. Problems with eating pure glucose include it having a high glycemic index, it depleting
other nutrients in its processing, etc. Ray never suggested that
refined sugar should be consumed regularly. Simple starches like pasta, normal bread, white rice, white potatoes
etc - also cause massive blood sugar spikes as refined sugar does. Ray talked about fruit being a better primary
carbohydrate source than starch, with fruit having a much lower glycemic index than starch or refined sugar - fruit in general has a lot more
fructose than glucose, and abundant micronutrients.
Eating a lot of refined sugar is also terrible for teeth. Sugar is highly acidic and feeds bad
bacteria in the mouth, so can cause cavities and other dental problems. Ray explained that after
eating something sugary, he often rinsed his mouth with a mixture of water and little bit of
sodium bicarbonate - to neutralize the acid.
Another thing - the image that some foods like milk, orange juice, or eggs have - as being almost
'nutritionally complete' foods, can make it seem attractive for someone to oversimplify their
diet. The body often adapts while on a restrictive diet; causing changes to gut bacteria and digestive
enzymes. These changes can make the foods that have been avoided harder for the body to digest, or even cause food
intolerances. A common example is that when someone completely cuts out dairy, the body can lose the
lactase enzyme, effectively making them lactose intolerant when they weren't before. Ray Peat
demonstrated a varied diet. Many restrictive diets that people consider to be 'nutritionally
complete', aren't actually so, and can leave someone with nutrient deficiencies or imbalances -
measurable, or hidden from test results.

Sodium thiosulfate is a legitimate medication with established medical uses, but high-dose
therapy is not without risks. Published reviews and prescribing information describe adverse
effects including metabolic acidosis, electrolyte disturbances, hypotension, arrhythmias,
